Hundreds of CJH students participate in ‘Big Event’

Last Friday, about 400 Caldwell Junior High students and staff went out into the Caldwell community to polish silver, clean and weed yards, wash windows and many more odd jobs -- all to give back to the Caldwell community during the school’s annual “Big Event.

DAV meeting

Disabled American Veterans (DAV) Chapter 86 of Caldwell will have a meeting on May 16, at 6:30 p.m. at the Caldwell First Baptist Church’s Family Center.The chapter is asking that Burleson County Disabled Veterans come and join to keep this chapter open.

Food pantry

The Elizabeth Lutheran Church’s Community Pantry will be open Saturday, May 18, from 7:30-10 a.m.It is open every third Saturday of each month.
