Community food drive breaks records again

Once again, Caldwell’s annual Food for Families food drive has broken donation records, with nearly $65,000 and just under 12,500 pounds of food donated in the one-day event.Held at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church Gym on Wednesday, Dec.

It’s that time of year again -- this Friday, Dec. 12, at 6 p.m. will be Caldwell’s annual Christmas on the Square celebration.

The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service has announced the launch of a capital campaign in partnership with the Texas A&M Foundation to support the new Texas 4-H Youth Development headquarters at Texas A&M-RELLIS.

Missing woman found in Waco

An elderly woman who left by car from her home on County Road 270 but did not return was reported missing on Sunday, Nov. 30, to Burleson County sheriff’s deputies. Fortunately, t h e woman was eventually found unharmed at 2 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 1, in Waco, said Burleson County Sheriff Bill Rios.
