Phony tax return filed in name of local resident

Someone filed a fraudulent federal income tax return in the name of a resident on F.M. 1362 North, and Burleson County sheriff’s deputies reported the case to the IRS.The incident was reported to the sheriff’s office on Wednesday, Oct. 22, and a deputy responded, said Sheriff Bill Rios.
