On Sunday, Oct. 5, New Tabor SPJST Youth Club made 40 dozen kolaches at the Hus Camp in honor of Czech Heritage Month with support of Lodge #17 SPJST and Lodge #277 CSA (Czechoslovak Society of America).

The Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) has named Post Oak Savannah Groundwater Conservation District (POSGCD) as one of the winners of the 2025 Texas Rain Catcher Award.

Consistent summer rains spur this year’s pumpkin harvest

Texas pumpkin producers are experiencing a strong harvest thanks to consistent rainfall and a dry July. While quantity is on par with last season’s harvest, producers say overall pumpkin quality is better compared to last year, according to Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service experts.
