Someone stole copper wire from an electric power box at an oil well site and off the oil pad last week off State Highway 21 East.
An employee of the oil company reported on Wednesday, Nov. 13, that he discovered the thefts at about 8 a.m., said Burleson County Chief Deputy Bill Rios.
The employee said he last saw the power box and oil pad intact on Thursday, Nov. 7.
