The Somerville Yeguas made big plays on defense in the first half, converting a Keith Crawford fumble recovery and an interception into touchdowns, and then took control offensively with its running game in a 46-12 win over Ben Bolt in the area playoff last Friday in Palacios.
Somerville, already district and bi-district champions, improved to 11-1, while Ben Bolt ended its season at 8-4.
