A Somerville area man was arrested on Saturday, Nov. 23, by a DPS trooper on a felony drug possession charge during a traffic stop in Somerville.
Joe Alvin Tarver, 50, was charged with possession of a controlled substance in Penalty Group 1, 1-4 grams, and remains in Burleson County custody on $5,000 bond, according to the Burleson County Sheriff’s Office.
