A fire severely damaged an unoccupied house on Monday, Jan. 6, off County Road 244, and the cause remains unknown.
No foul play is suspected, and the building and contents were a total loss, said Snook Volunteer Firefighter Beth Collins.
No one was living in the wood-frame house or inside when the fire erupted, and there were no injuries, Collins said.
