Media reports indicated that the Texas Rangers were in Lee County on Wednesday, Jan. 1, to look into possible links to the New Orleans terrorist suspect.
KBTX-TV in Bryan reported that the Rangers were checking into leads regarding suspect Shamsud-Din Jabbar, 42, of Houston, but Lee County Sheriff Garrett Durrenberger said he could not comment.
