A Burleson County woman reported on Friday, Feb. 21, that someone stole $1,200 from her in a fraudulent Facebook scheme advertising a pickup for sale.
The woman reported to the Burleson County Sheriff’s Office that she saw the advertisement posted on a friend’s Facebook page for a truck, and sent a $1,200 payment online, said Chief Deputy Bill Rios.
