Area seamstresses, residents host ‘sew-in’ for The Blessing Box project
Last Saturday, Snook Extension Education Association (EEA) and Snook SPJST Lodge #9 held a “sew-in” to support The Blessing Box Project.
The Blessing Box Project, based in Bellville and run by Dawn Compton and her “Pink Tribe,” provides mastectomy pillows and drain shirts for women battling breast cancer.
