Caldwell and Cooks Point volunteer firefighters responded on Sunday afternoon, March 2, to a small fire in wooded acreage at Woodrow Lake off F.M. 2000, but it was quickly contained and confined to that area.
Cooks Point Fire Chief Larry Odstrcil said the fire, burning about an acre, reignited near the area of a controlled burn that Caldwell firefighters had responded to on Friday, Feb. 28.
