An oil well fire erupting early Wednesday, March 5, at a Wildfire Energy site off F.M. 2000 was quickly extinguished by three area fire departments and contained to one tank on the site.
There were no injuries, and the cause of the fire is unknown, said Caldwell Fire Chief David Pevehouse.
