THE CONGREGATION OF SHILOH Missionary Baptist Church sing “We’ve Come This Far by Faith” during a dedication service for a Texas Historical Marker on Saturday.
Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church has a reason to celebrate its history, and Saturday the congregation of past and present visited that history by dedicating a Texas Historical Marker in front of the church sanctuary.
The church was formed after the Civil War to meet the spiritual needs of formerly enslaved men and women by Rev. Riley (Rielly) Williams, with the first structure in Chriesman.
