Burleson County commissioners approved the purchase of an asphalt distributor truck from Houston Freightliner for $305,898 and a chipspreader from R.B. Everett & Co. of Houston for $384,671 at their Monday, April 14, meeting.
Funds for the purchase came from the Road & Bridge General Fund, meaning the equipment will be available for all four precincts to use.
