Snook volunteer firefighters responded to an illegal controlled burn on Saturday, April 12, on County Road 267 involving burning of some wood and plastic materials.
A man burning several piles of materials initially called the Burleson County Sheriff’s Office to notify them of a controlled burn but did not explain that he was burning illegal substances, said Snook Firefighter Beth Collins.
