The Somerville City Council approved a 74.116 cents tax rate for 2025-26, a 7.402 cents increase per $100 valuation from 2024-25, and a $3,581,057 budget at their Tuesday, Sept. 9, meeting.
The council approved an ordinance for the tax rate, up from last year’s rate of 67.695 cents, following a public hearing with no comments.
