Shivers, Carter lead scoring with 16 points
The Somerville Yeguas battled Calvert close through three quarter before falling 64-51 on Wednesday, Dec. 29, in Calvert.
Somerville had led 17- 12 in the first quarter, but Calvert rallied for a 32-28 lead at halftime. Somerville rallied in the third to tie it 43-43 before Calvert went on a 21-8 run in the fourth quarter.
The Yeguas had several players foul out by the fourth quarter.
