Caldwell currently sits in third place in District 19-3A

    The Lady Hornets are off to the best start of the season they have had in many recent years.

    Currently, Caldwell is 16-6 overall and 4-2 in district, which has the team in third in District 19-3A -- behind Rogers and Little-River Academy, both sitting at 5-1 in the district.

    Caldwell’s two district losses were to Academy and Rogers.

    Academy is also sitting at Number 23 in the latest Texas Association…
