Brenda Clark Rowan

Brenda Clark Rowan, 78, of Caldwell, a beloved mother, wife, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away June 6, 2025, surrounded by her family.

Brenda was born in Weatherford, on January 18, 1947, to Troy and Lorene Clark.

She grew up in Weatherford, attended Weatherford schools and graduated from Weatherford High School in 1963.

Brenda was raised on a dairy farm, where she loved to ride horses, assist with farm chores and cause mischief.

She gave life to three beautiful children, Rhonna, Randy and Robbye, and raised them fiercely with unwavering love.

She held her own, working as a supervisor within a male-dominated field at Alcoa, independently providing for her children.

Brenda served as the matriarch of not only her immediate family, but her extended family across generations.

Brenda had a passion for bringing others together, creating a welcoming environment for all. If you met her, she was your Mammy.

She never turned down an opportunity to support those she loved, faithfully showing up for every baseball game, volleyball match and dirt bike race.

Her home cooking was unmatched, making any family gathering impossible to miss. She was the glue that held her family together.

When describing Brenda, strong-willed is an understatement. She could hold her own against anyone, especially when protecting her family. She was not afraid to speak her mind, and lived a free-spirited life.

Mammywasasassyqueen of bling, flaunting turquoise jewelry everywhere she went. She was fearless in many ways, fighting snakes with just a small shovel, spending time camping outdoors, and taking her chances on the slot machine.

Mammy also loved to buy and sell antiques, visiting auctions on the search for jewelry, guns, furniture, and more.

She was an avid sports fan, attending sporting events when she could, and watching them on TV when she could not.

Brenda is survived by her husband, Robert Rowan; and daughters, Rhonna and husband, Haden Hollis, and Robbye and husband, Billy Morsko; and daughter-in-law, Linda Du-Valle. She is also survived by her brother, Ronnie Clark; grandchildren, including Justin Hollis, Morgan Jones,NathanMorsko, Ashlee Pack, Blake Du-Valle, Cole DuValle; step daughter, Kimmy Taylor; stepgrandchildren, Hailee and Dylan Taylor, Lane and James Morgan; dear lifelong friend, JoAnne Barak; and many greatgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Troy and Lorene Clark; sisters, Carolyn Gouge and Phynetta Clark; and son, Randy DuValle.

Following the service at Circle C Barn on June 12, 2025, at 3 p.m. at Copperas Creek a meal will be provided.
