David Rainey Langham was born on Dec 20, 1943, in Fort Worth, to Warren A. Langham and Georgia Rainey Langham.
He passed away on July 29, 2025, due to a car accident in Caldwell.
David worked in the oil and gas industry for over 50 years.
He was an avid hunter, but also enjoyed softball and bowling. He loved to dance and could often be found cutting a rug at dance halls near and far.
He was a wonderful dad, brother, grandfather, greatgrandfather and friend to us all.
He was preceded in death by his mother; father; and older brother, Warren A. Langham Jr.
He is survived by his only child, Tracy Young; brother, Charles Langham; halfsister, Saundri Murphy, and sons; grandchildren, Mandy McNeil and husband, Justin, Haley Williams and Kelsy Young; great-grandchildren, Karson and Kade Williams, Silas Cisneros, Seyvonn Straughter and Sevynn Young.
He will be missed by many, including his dance friends.
A celebration of life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at the Burleson County Cowboy Church, 300 County Road 169, Caldwell, Texas 77836.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting a donation be made to the Cade Lake Volunteer Fire Department.
