Teresa was born on Oct. 25, 1957, in Livingston, to Harmon Fults and Julia Ann (McDaniels) Fults.
Teresa graduated from Livingston High School.
She married Dennis R. Maddox on June 7, 1974, in Goodrich.
Teresa served as the first lady and pianist of the Rockdale Church for over 20 years. She was a partner in the ministry with her husband, a mother, avid reader, friend and comfort to many.
She loved to cook and sew.
Teresa had a hobby of collecting fancy purses and shoes from around the world.
She was a lifetime Christian who was devoted to her faith and family.
Teresa was a member of the Lighthouse Ministries in Bryan.
She had lived in Caldwell for the past 25 years previously living in Houston.
She died on Thursday, May 8, 2025.
She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Dennis Maddox; one daughter and her husband; one son and his wife; two sisters; two brothers; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and many more relatives and friends.
