Hornets fall due to last second shot by Smithville

The Caldwell Hornets lost to Smithville 63-62 on a last-second shot on Tuesday, Feb. 3, in Smithville.Caldwell led 22-14 in the first quarter, but the Tigers rallied in the second quarter with a 22-7 run for a 36-29 halftime lead.

Last Tuesday, Pool scored 21 points on the road against Iola to lead the Lady Jays’ offense.
