The Snook Bluejays, now playing a JV schedule, fell to Weimar 20-7 last Wednesday, Oct. 15, in Snook.Snook’s score came on a 42-yard run by Michael Eaton. Eaton finished with 15 carries for 88 yards.Wyatt Lopez carried two times for 19 yards and was 5-6 in passing for 55 yards.

Last Friday, Anette Reyna had a triple double to lead the Lady Yeguas past their rivals, the Snook Lady Jays, in four sets 26-28, 28-26, 25-19, 25-14.Reyna had 21 kills, 18 digs and 15 assists to lead Somerville overall in the win.

A slow start proved costly for Caldwell last week in a 45-21 road loss to speedy Madisonville.Trailing 21-0 after the first quarter while adjusting to the Mustangs fast running backs, the Hornets settled down defensively thereafter and had another strong night running the ball.

The Snook Bluejays, now playing at the JV level due to depleted manpower, fell to Magnolia West 36-6 last Thursday in Snook.Snook trailed 6-0 after the first quarter and 20-0 at halftime and 30-6 after three quarters.The Bluejays’ score came on a 12-yard pass from Wyatt Lopez to Braedyn Fannin.
