The Caldwell Hornets split games with La Grange last week -- falling 3-1 in a Tuesday, April 7, road game and then winning 6-1 at home on Friday, April 10.Caldwell improved to 11-9-1 for the year and 3-3 in district play.

The Snook Bluejays lost to Milano last week 10-0 on Tuesday, April 7, in Milano and 15-3 on Friday, April 10, at home.Snook fell to 2-11 overall and 2-6 in district play.In game two against the Eagles on Friday, Snook scored in the bottom of the first to even the score at 1-1.

The Snook boys golf team earned second place in the team standings at the Snook Invitational Golf Tournament on March 30 at Copperas Hollow.The team scored a total of 404 strokes, behind first place Bremond Boys A team with 338 strokes.

Bluejays sweep Yeguas in double-header

Snook landed its first two Ws in the win column by beating rival Somerville in both games of a double-header last Tuesday.Game 1 was a classic for the history books, with Snook claiming the win in the bottom of the seventh inning.
In Game 1 against Somerville last week, Bosley hit the game winning bunt in the bottom of the seventh inning to score Gabe LaCaze from third for the 6-5 Snook win.
