Burleson County Little League All-Star Tournament play for Texas East District 13 has begun for some of the area athletes.In softball, the 8U Coach Pitch team began pool play on June 6 in Burton against Bellville.Both teams were placed in Pool A with Twin Cities.
BRAYDEN WILSON and AJ Sims recently qualified for the American Cornhole League’s (ACL) national finals in the Pro Shootout Doubles Division. The event is being televised on June 21 at 10:30 a.m. on ESPN+.

Members of the Texas Bully Baggers and local cornhole players, Brayden Wilson and AJ Sims, have qualified for the American Cornhole League’s (ACL) national finals in the Pro Shootout Doubles Division.The event will be in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on Friday, June 21, airing on EPSN+ at 10:30 p.m.

Caldwell High School bass fishermen Brewster Sleeth and Cody Elkins finished 17th in the Texas B.A.S.S. Nation State Tournament last weekend in the Youth Division for high schools.The two-day bass fishing tournament over June 7-8 was held at Cedar Creek Lake in Gun Barrel City.
THE BURLESON COUNTY TEAM of Kaden Schroeder, Jalynn Urbanosky, Kylan Canon and Cayle Canon competed in the Livestock Judging event at the recent 2024 Texas 4-H Roundup.

The Burleson County 4-H Club recently competed at the Texas 4-H Roundup at Texas A&M University.The event consists of around 50 competitive events, with some of these contests requiring each individual or team to qualify at the county and district level to compete.

Caldwell High School volleyball players are competing in Division I (Varsity) in the Aggieland Summer Volleyball League in Madisonville.The girls were scheduled to play on Thursday, May 30, but weather knocked the power out and all games were rescheduled throughout June.
