Only Somerville shows decrease in sales tax
Sales tax revenues showed an increase for August 2026 from August 2025 for Burleson County in Texas Comptroller Don Huffines’ latest monthly report.
And, the cities of Caldwell and Snook also showed increases, while the City of Somerville showed a decrease.
The report was based on sales made in June by businesses that report tax monthly and on sales made in April, May and June by quarterly filers.
