Because of COVID-19, the Deanville July 4 celebration afternoon dance and dine-in barbecue is canceled this year.
However, they are still planning drive-through, to-go barbecue plates at lunch from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The celebration is hosted each year at the Deanville Hermann Sons Life Hall on F.M. 111.
