The Somerville Police Department has been awarded the coveted Accredited Law Enforcement Agency Award. The accreditation was presented on Wednesday, Jan. 31, by the Texas Police Chiefs Association Law Enforcement Accreditation Program, which recognizes over 170 best business practices for Texas law enforcement.
