A 40-year-old Bastrop man was arrested on Thursday morning, May 21, on a felony assault charge in connection with an attack on a woman on County Road 342.
Travis O Harold Dawson was charged with assault, enhanced due to a previous conviction, and remains in Burleson County custody on $20,000 bond, according to the Burleson County Sheriff’s Office.
