Somerville, Birch Creek and Deanville firefighters extinguished a grass fire on Sunday afternoon, Nov. 10, that burned about five acres at 8689 F.M. 2774 in Frenstat.
A controlled burn of a brush pile accidentally got into the grass and spread to the pasture, said Somerville Fire Chief Wayne Wilhelm.
