Agnes Lanell “Jackie” Pardee passed away on December 17, 2023, at the age of 89 in Kerens, Texas.
A Graveside Service will be held Wednesday, January 3, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at Oaklawn Cemetery Pavilion in Somerville, Texas.
Viewing will be from Noon to 1:00 p.m. at the Cemetery.
Lanell was a native Texan, born in Algerita, Texas, to Floyd and Ollie (Newby) Lewis.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Robert Wendel Pardee; granddaughter, Jacqui Lynette Pardee; a great-grandson, Weston Bowers; and two brothers, John Lewis and Tom Lewis.
She is survived by her loving family, two sons, Jack Pardee and wife, Barbara, of Cleveland Texas, Mike Pardee and wife, Benji, of Kerens, Texas; five grandchildren, Lindsey Bowers and husband, Darrell, Elizabeth Anderson and husband, Robert, Billy Pardee, Alicia Costner and husband, Chris, Robert Pardee and wife, Christina; her greatgrandchildren, Robert Taylor and Christopher Pardee, Weldon, Will and Worth Bowers, Clara Beth and Wesley Anderson, Caleb Costner, two nieces, Cindy Beth Williams and Leah Mickie; a nephew, Pete Lewis; and numerous great and great-greatnieces and nephews, Travis Williams, Ollie Lewis, Thomas Mickie, Trevor Neely, Vera Mickie, Caroline Williams, Lillith, Wrath and Athena Lyons; along with other relatives and friends.
LaNell had a rewarding career as a nurse for 40 years in private, industrial and insurance sectors.
She also had a creative side to her working in a friend’s business as a floral designer and framing.
She was an avid gardener and had a passion for flowers (especially roses) and plants. With her green thumb, everything she planted vigorously thrived.
In earlier years she collected cranberry glass and owls as a hobby.
LaNell, Mom, Grandma, Aunt Jackie will be missed. Her legacy will continue to inspire and guide those who loved her.
Pallbearers include Robert Pardee, Billy Pardee, Robert Taylor Pardee, Christiopher Pardee, Robert Anderson and Darrell Bowers and honorary pallbearer Josh Arceneaux.
