Body

Cecilia Louise “Lou Lou” Adams Munoz, 73, of Bryan, Texas, was born in Houston, Texas on September 13, 1950.

She went to her Heavenly home as the sun came up on January 1, 2024, with her sister and brother-in-law by her side at St. Joseph Hospital.

Lou had a career in healthcare billing. She worked for many years at The Diagnostic Clinic in Houston before relocating to Austin to be near her family there.

She finished out her career in Bryan working with her brother-in-love, Chuck (MajorSmiles).

She and her first cousin began making and selling jewelry and it brought great joy to her and those who purchased or were gifted these treasures.

Lou Lou loved people, purple, and bling!

She was the eternal optimist and was always working to keep family together as often as she could. If that didn’t work, she would often show up on their doorstep for a visit. Lou was the definition of love in this life. Although she never birthed her own children it didn’t shorten the list of those who called her mom or those she mothered.

Words on paper do not do justice to this incredibly kind and significant woman.

Survivors include a brother, AlfredAguilar (and Eleanor) of Houston; her sisters, Judy Castillo (and Joe) of Houston, Renee Gainer (and Frank) of Lufkin, JoAn Majors (and Chuck) of Caldwell and Donna Whitaker of Dallas. In addition, to several aunts and uncles she leaves a long list of cousins, many nieces and nephews (and their children) who loved and adored Tia Lou, “the hugger”!

She was preceded in death by her parents, Cecilia (Judy) Salinas Pickett, (Pete Pickett) and Lee Adams, Jr. Also, the love of her life and late husband, Daniel V. Munoz. As well as many other family members who we are sure met her with open arms.

Aprivate celebration of life will be held on February 3, 2024, with family and close friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Aggieland Humane Society, info@aggielandhumane. org, or the American Diabetes Foundation, https:// diabetes.org.
