Irene Schumacher, age 91, of Caldwell, passed away peacefully on May 25, 2025.A lifelong resident of Burleson County, Irene was known for her devotion to family, her enduring friendships and her gentle spirit.

Sonja Kim Ward was born on March 4, 1962, in Rockdale, to Jack Calvin and Elizabeth Colwell Ward. She joined her older sister Lila, and two years later, their brother Darrel completed the LSD trio.

Gene Edward Hermes

Gene Edward Hermes was born in Kennedy, Texas on April 26, 1966, to Fabian Paul and Clara Bell Hermes and passed away on May 31, 2025, at the age of 59, at his home in Caldwell.Gene grew up in South Texas with his sister and three brothers.

On May 31, 2025, Helen Self Bishop departed this world and was welcomed home in the arms of the Lord.Helen was born on March 20, 1946, to parents Richard and Pauline Phelps in Caldwell.As a child, she enjoyed attending church with her family and getting to play the piano any opportunity she got.
