Burleson County commissioners approved the payment of overtime and a budget amendment for the sheriff’s department and jail at their Monday, Sept. 14, meeting.
County auditor Jimmy Mynar said the total accrued compensatory time for the sheriff’s department amounted to $74,155, exceeding the budgeted $30,000.
