A 39-year-old Caldwell area man was arrested on Aug. 31 on an aggravated assault with a deadly weapon charge in connection with a man threatening a woman with a machete an Aug. 18 incident on County Road 316.
Alexander Eugene Aucoin was charged and remains in Burleson County custody on $100,000 in bond, according to the Burleson County Sheriff’s Office.
