County Officers Take Seats On New Year’s Day The new year brought Burleson County four new faces.
They took the oath of office Friday morning, January 1, in ceremonies at the courthouse.
It was there that Hays Bowers was sworn in as County Judge, Walter Hilliard, County Attorney, and Raymond Piwonka and W.H. “Bill” Giesenschlag, Commissioners. County Clerk Hundley administered the oaths.
