Everyone expected some improvement for the Somerville Yeguas football team in 2024.But only the players could have predicted just how far they could go.

Hospital board looks at Mobile Med Station idea

The Burleson County Hospital District Board of Directors was briefed on Monday on the possibilities of a Mobile Med Station designed to offer patients portable medical examinations in a small space while diverting resources away from emergency rooms when not needed.

Caldwell sets public hearing on zoning

The Caldwell City Council will hold a public hearing at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 19, to discuss a new, proposed ordinance addressing zoning for developments and building code updates.

Sealy shuts down Hornets’ offense, gets 43-14 win

Sealy shut down Caldwell’s running game and held the Hornets to just 190 total yards in a 43-14 win last Friday in Sealy.The loss dropped Caldwell to 2-7 overall and 0-4 in district play with district leader Bellville coming to town this Friday.
