Man charged in felony tampering

A 22-year-old Caldwell man was arrested by a DPS trooper on Tuesday, Sept. 17, on a thirddegree felony charge of tampering with physical evidence charge on State Highway 36.Nicholas Dechristlyn Johnson was charged and is now free on $5,000 bond, according to the Burleson County Sheriff’s Office.

Sales tax revenues showed a decrease for September 2024 from September 2023 for Burleson County in Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar’s latest monthly report.The cities of Caldwell and Somerville also showed decreases. However, the City of Snook showed an increase.
