Snook student alleges sexual harassment

The Snook School Board has upheld an administrative decision made in a parent grievance process and said the grievance was untimely under the board’s policy.As part of that grievance process, involving incidents from the 202425 school year, the student alleged sexual harassment by a teacher.

The Caldwell City Council on Tuesday, Nov. 18, was to consider a 15-year lease of 3 acres of city property on F.M. 975 to Haven Animal Rescue of Texas (HART), a major step in establishing a longneeded animal shelter in Burleson County.

A fire burned about 5 acres of pasture land off F.M. 1361 on Sunday afternoon, Nov. 9, but Somerville and Snook firefighters responded quickly and contained it.
