Extension office to offer class to manage blood pressure

The Burleson County Extension Office will be offering a heart health class series, “Cooking Well for a Healthy Blood Pressure.”This three-part program is designed to help individuals living with high blood pressure make informed, practical changes in the kitchen -- without sacrificing flavor.

Somerville man dies in wreck on SH 36

A 49-year-old Somerville man was killed early Sunday, Oct. 12, in a rollover accident on State Highway 36, just south of Caldwell.William Bailey, 49, was pronounced dead at the scene by Burleson County Pct. 3 Justice of the Peace Johnny Towslee, DPS Sgt. Justin Ruiz said.
