Woman charged in theft by deception charge

A Caldwell woman was arrested on Tuesday, Sept. 9, by Caldwell police on a theft of property by deception charge.Tamara Stephens, 42, was charged with theft of property by deception, $2,500-$30,000 and is now free on $5,000 bond, according to the Burleson County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies probe criminal mischief case off PR 3004

Burleon County sheriff’s deputies are investigating a criminal mischief case in which a man repeatedly struck another man’s pickup with his hands and feet, causing damage.Sheriff Bill Rios said the incident occurred on Thursday night, Sept. 11, off Private Road 3004.

Huron named to SNHU Dean’s list

Elida Huron of Snook has been named to Southern New Hampshire University’s Summer 2025 Dean’s List. The summer terms run from May to August.Full-time undergraduate students who have earned a minimum grade-point average of 3.500 to 3.699 for the reporting term are named to the Dean’s List.
