Burleson County Judge Keith Schroeder told county commissioners on Tuesday, Oct. 15, that a 2022 lawsuit against the county seeking paper ballots for elections instead of voting machines is wrong.
Contesting the suit has become burdensome to the county, and the county’s efforts to defend against the suit has been costly to taxpayers, Schroeder said in an interview after the meeting.
