Multiple volunteer firefighters respond
Area volunteer firefighters battled a 15 acre grass and brush fire late Monday, Nov. 4, off County Road 324 near the F.M. 696 intersection and were able to keep the blaze away from two nearby houses.
The fire was toned at 3:40 p.m. at 9071 County Road 324 with Deanville, Caldwell, Cade Lake, Black Jack and Lexington volunteer firefighters responding.
