A graveside memorial service for Melanie Jane Scott, 67, will be held at at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 18, 2020, at Providence Cemetery near Caldwell, with Pastor Billy Sutherland officiating.
Melanie died on Monday, July 6, 2020, in Bryan.
Melanie was born on Dec. 8, 1952, in Bryan to Hubert Scott and Lorraine (Small) Scott of Somerville. She was preceded in
She was preceded in death by her parents; her grandparents, Forrest and Zula Small and Hugh and Annie Scott; and her brothers, Gary Scott and Jimmy Scott.
Melanie is survived by her sister-in-law, Linda Scott Jackson; her nieces, Kersten Kendall and Naomi Thompson; her nephew, Jimmy Scott II; and numerous great-nieces, great-nephews, and other family and loved ones.
