Lamar Gene Urbanovsky was born in Bryan, to Frank J. Urbanovsky and Olga M. (Regmund) Urbanovsky, the third of four boys, on September 21, 1946.He attended Bryan Public School and graduated from Stephen F. Austin High School in 1965.
