CHARLES SCHOPPE

Mass of Christian Burial for Charles Schoppe, 82, was held at 10:00 a.m., on Friday, Dec. 9, 2022, at St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Church, 916 Park St., La Porte. Charles was a man who cherished time spent with his family. He loved coaching his children in all the different sports.

Beatrice Mayer Schoenemann Krimm, 85, of Caldwell, was born on June 28, 1937, to Willie and Irene (Muske) Mayer who lived in the Shelby community. She attended Round Top and Industry schools before graduating from Bellville High School in 1955. She married Herman M. Schoenemann Jr.

ERNEST COURTNEY

Ernest Lee Courtney, 72, of Caldwell, was born on November 16, 1950, in Caldwell to parents, George and Doris (Lacina) Courtney. He grew up in Caldwell and received his GED while he was in the Army. After his service in the Army, he began working as a bricklayer.

Patsy Bernice Mynar, 79, of Caldwell departed this life and rejoined her husband on their wedding anniversary December 10, 2022. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 16, 2022, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Caldwell at 10 a.m.

Gene Verwold who was known for his quiet, easy going, and caring disposition, went to spend Christmas with his longtime sweetheart, Evelyn, in Heaven on Tuesday, December, 13, 2022.

Elizabeth “Betsy” Goodnight, 76, o f Caldwell, Texas, was called home to her Lord on Tuesday, December 6, 2022. Visitation was held on Monday, December 12, 2022, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home.

Anna Lee Bills, 77, of Bryan went to be with our Lord and Savior on Wednesday, December 7, 2022. Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 14, 2022, from 5-7 p.m. at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Caldwell, Texas. Funeral services will be held on December 15, 2022, at 10:00 a.m.

MANDY VAJDAK

Mandy Vajdak passed away on December 7, 2022. Visitation was at 10 a.m. with the funeral service to follow at 11 a.m., on December 12, 2022, at the Snook Brethren Church. Interment followed at the Snook Cemetery. Mandy Vajdak was born on June 22, 1980, in Bryan Texas, to Dale and Cathy Marek.

Lucile Helen Dockery, 94, of Bryan, Texas, went to be with our Lord and Savior on Wednesday, November 30, 2022, at home with her family by her side. A public visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on December 9, 2022, in the chapel at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Caldwell.

Matilda Maldonado Orozco passed away peacefully on December 3, 2022. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 9, 2022, at 11 a.m. at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Somerville, Texas, with the Holy Rosary at 1 p.m. followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 2 p.m.
