On the evening of Friday, April 22, 2022, Carlson Ernest Jakubik earned his wings and went home to the Lord. ‘Sonny’ as he was known to many, had a great and fulfilling life. He was born October 15, 1939, in Snook, Texas, to Ernest Rudolph Jakubik and Ollie (Shenkir) Jakubik.

Amie Marie Strong Young of Caldwell, Texas, went to be with the Lord on April 26, 2022, after a year and a half battle with cancer. Private funeral services will be held in her honor. She was born May 8, 1952, in Bryan, Texas, the daughter of Skelly and Billey Gene Strong.
