Lady Jays win two last week

Last week, the Lady Jays won two matches. On Tuesday, Snook hosted Dime Box, beating the Lady Horns in straight sets 25-18, 2518, 25-18. On Friday, Snook traveled to Buckholts, winning 25-19, 25-10, 25-12.

Snook XC runs in the 2023 Cooper Dragon Invitational

The Snook High School cross country team traveled to Tomball last Saturday and ran in the Cooper Dragon XC Invitational 2023. The Snook boys ran in the Varsity Boys Division 1 race with David Janac finishing 33rd with a time of 11:30.13.

CHS JV Vball falls to Burton, Sealy

The Lady Hornet JV volleyball team lost both of its matches last week. On the road in Burton last Tuesday, Caldwell fell in straight sets 2527, 11-25. Stat highlights include: Adeline Hicks, eight digs; Emory Volentine, two aces; Kylie Vogler, three kills.

Caldwell freshman vball falls to Sealy

The Lady Hornet freshman volleyball team played in Sealy on Friday, Sept. 1. Caldwell lost in three sets 26-24, 22-25, 13-15.

Lady Hornets fall to two Top 25 teams last week

The Lady Hornet are finished with tournament play and began their two matches per week schedule. However, Caldwell lost both matches to Top 25 teams.

US News & World Report place Caldwell, Snook on lists of top high schools in state, nation

Last week, U.S. News & World Report released its list of the 2023-2024 Best High Schools rankings ranking 17,680 out of the nearly 25,000 public high schools in all 50 states and the District of Columbia, and Caldwell and Snook high schools made the list.

LONGHORNS WIN -- What started out like another ho-hum game with #11 Texas Longhorns only winning 13-3 at halftime turned into the rout we expected in a 37-10 win over the Rice Owls. UT’s defense played “lights-out” by only giving up 176 total yards, and only allowed 27 rushing yards.

Lady Hornets win silver bracket title at Anderson-Shiro Tourney

The Lady Hornets played seven matches last week and were 4-3, coming away with a first place finish in the silver bracket at theAnderson-Shiro Tournament. Before the tournament, Caldwell traveled to Number 13 Madisonville on Tuesday and lost in three sets.
