In a District 26-2A battle, the Lady Jays fell to Burton at home last Friday 53-27.Burton got off to an early 11-4 lead after the first quarter, and extended its lead to 29-14 by halftime.

Snook hits 3-pointer to beat Bremond 41-40

The Snook Bluejays hit a late 3-pointer to defeat Bremond 41-40 last Tuesday, Jan. 7, at home before falling to league leader Mumford 58-40 last Friday in Mumford.Snook finished the week 12-10 overall and 2-2 in district play.

Lady Jay basketball falls to Bremond, Mumford

The Lady Jays had a rough week of district play last week -- losing to Bremond at home and to Mumford on the road.Last Tuesday, Snook hosted Bremond, falling to the Lady Tigers 73-42.
